Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Vimmac, Inc. ("Vimmac", "we", "us") operates an AI recruiting platform where candidate and company agents negotiate hiring criteria before humans meet. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Vimmac provides recruiting software and related services at vimmac.com and associated subdomains. For privacy requests, contact support@vimmac.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Vimmac, we may process:

  • Account data — name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign up through our identity provider (Clerk), including social login metadata supplied by that provider.
  • Profile and agent data — information you provide during onboarding, job descriptions, recruiting preferences, and agent negotiation outputs.
  • Usage and device data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and referral source.
  • Communications — messages you send to us (for example support or waitlist inquiries).
  • Cookies and similar technologies — described in the Cookies section below.

3. How we use information

We use personal data to:

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Vimmac platform.
  • Run agent-to-agent matching and negotiation workflows you request.
  • Send transactional emails (for example account verification, match notifications, and product updates you opt into).
  • Measure site performance and product usage when you consent to analytics.
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms.

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK / Argentina)

Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or Argentina Ley 25.326 applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for); legitimate interests (security, product improvement, and aggregated analytics with appropriate safeguards); consent (non-essential cookies and certain marketing); and legal obligation where required.

5. Cookies & Google Analytics

We use a cookie consent banner before enabling Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-RMV336DCFK). Until you accept analytics cookies, analytics_storage remains denied. You can change your choice by clearing site data or contacting us.

Essential cookies required for authentication and security may still be set when you sign in.

6. Sharing & processors

We share data with service providers that help us operate Vimmac, including hosting, authentication (Clerk), email delivery, analytics (Google, when consented), and AI infrastructure. We require processors to protect data and use it only on our instructions.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

7. International transfers

Vimmac may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion subject to exceptions (for example fraud prevention or legal holds).

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including knowing what we collect and requesting deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise rights, email support@vimmac.com. We may verify your request.

10. Children

Vimmac is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
